- 10 AAI Young Investigator Awards for $100 each sponsored by the American Association of Immunologists
- 10 ThermoFisher/Affymetrix Trainee Travel Awards
- Oral poster presentations in an informal setting
- Two Apple iPad Air tablets (Wi-fi, 128GB) to raffle. Only registered trainees attending the meeting will be eligible to win. You must be present at the drawing!!

Our opening event will be a Welcome Reception, followed by dinner and a Keynote presentation. Our Keynote Speakers are Dr. Jeremy M. Boss (Emory University) and Dr. Thomas A. Wynn (Pfizer). Please check the Schedule of Events page for more information, as well as frequent updates.

The ongoing goal of this meeting is to foster collaborations and interactions among participants and their institutions, as well as provide opportunities for postdoctoral fellows and graduate students to present their research. Trainees are encouraged to submit poster abstracts for consideration of an AAI Young Investigator Award. Electronic submission is required for all abstracts by 5:00 p.m., Friday, August 17, 2020. (See Poster and Abstract Guidelines for additional information and submission). Failure to meet this deadline will result in ineligibility to receive an award or give an oral presentation.  Trainees who receive either an AAI or a travel award will be invited to give Oral Poster Presentations. The award winners are chosen by the NYIC Scientific Advisory Board members and based on the scientific value of their poster abstracts. Awards will be presented during the Conference.

Electronic registration is required for all participants. Register as soon as possible to secure your accommodations as there are a limited number of rooms available. The registration fee includes three nights lodging, meals, break beverages, and Conference materials. Registration closes Friday, August 17, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Cancellations must be received by August 24, 2020 to receive a refund.

The Conference is supported by a National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases R13 grant. Significant support is also provided by corporate sponsors, which helps reduce the attendance costs for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Past major Corporate Sponsors include BD Biosciences, BioLegend, and Taconic. Additional contributors are listed on the Corporate Sponsors web page. Institutional financial support includes Albany Medical College, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, SUNY Upstate, University at Buffalo, University of Connecticut, University at Rochester, University of Vermont, and Wadsworth Center/UAlbany. Each supporting institution is represented on the NYIC Scientific Advisory Board (SAB).
